Brown Chiropractic

Dr. Brown is great and I am very fortunate to have him as my chiropractor. His scientific and gentle method of adjustment is EXACTLY what I need. He is knowledgeable, attentive, thorough, kind, and punctual. I drive over an hour to his office and he is worth every minute of the drive!

Dr. Brown and his family moved down the street from me in the late 1990s and I became friends with his sons. It wasn't until many years later when my severe scoliosis was causing me almost constant pain that I had sought chiropractic help not from Dr. Brown, but from another couple of chiropractors in town (Dr. Brown's actual office is 30 minutes away from me in another town). I was suffering a severe migraine on a Friday in November 2011. I had taken ibuprofen all day long and it wasn't touching it. I knew why. My neck was out badly. My regular chiropractor was closed by this time. Desperate, I asked a family member of Dr. Brown's for his number and decided to call and ask if he'd see me in his home. He very kindly obliged. He asked me what was going on and performed a series of function tests with me and checked my leg lengths. He did a very thorough adjustment with me using the activator. I remember thinking, "This thing's too gentle, there's no way this is going to do anything." He finished the adjustment and asked me to get off the table and see how I felt. My head felt normal. The dizziness and pressure was completely gone. That night I went on to play a four hour band gig (I am a guitarist) in Dublin, Ohio and noticed that for the first time in years, my back was completely pain free. I remained this way all weekend long and through the next couple of weeks. With a severe scoliosis like mine, that's almost unheard of. I continued chiropractic with my normal practitioners thereafter until my employment situation changed and I did not have the means to continue. After 9 months of not going, I was twisted like a pretzel and hurt every day. I had occasion to come back into contact with Dr. Brown after his youngest son tragically died in a car accident. I had told him of my problems and he told me to come by for an adjustment. I did. Expecting this to take multiple adjustments over a period of weeks, I was absolutely stunned when one visit made me feel more than 90 percent normal and pain free. My sagging shoulder evened out, I could breathe easier and I felt great. I have seen him for one follow up since then and both of us were astonished at the progress just from that one adjustment. Jim Brown is not a chiropractor. He's a magician. What he has done with me works, and you can't put a price on that. I will always have scoliosis, but with quality adjustments, I can keep my edge in the gym and on stage and know relief is around the corner. Thanks, Dr. Brown!

I started going to Dr Brown, when I had muscle spasms & the medical profession didn't help me. He worked on me and the spasms were gone by the next day. Haven't had them since. Dr Brown will help you if at all possible, if he can't, he'll tell you so. He is also, professional and friendly. He's my go to person, when I have neck, back, knee, or wrist pain. If you need a chiropractor, he's your man. Would I recommend him to others? Yes, and I have, I have two of my siblings and several church members going to him through my recommendation.
